My son and daughter in law came for dinner and I showed them the sea captain’s typewriter. Jess wrote the following tale of a giant wave while we were sitting around waiting for dinner. It fits with the provenance and the fact that she has recently read a book on monster ocean waves. So now the old sea captain’s machine belongs to them, complete with the canvas bag that it came in. Thus the typewriter insurgency is spreading…
