Craft Brew

Victoria has been at the centre of the craft brewing revolution since the early 1980’s. My travels today lead to a local brewery, which began as a small microbrewery and grew into a major operation, making a variety of wonderful craft beers.

We’ve been spoiled for great beer in Portland, Oregon for some time now. Yet sampling the local craft beer offerings is always a great part of traveling elsewhere. My last visit (pre-pandemic) to Victoria, I found a local beer that I liked enough to bring some home with me: Driftwood Brewery’s Fat Tug IPA.
